Companies with environmental achievements to shout about are being urged to enter this year's Environment and Energy Awards.
The awards, which are one of the highlights of the Sustainabilitylive exhibition in Birmingham, in May, have opened their call for entries for the 2009 awards.
The winner of last year's NEMEX Renewables Innovation Award said that taking home the accolade had made a big difference.
Gwyneth Scott, energy services project co-ordinator for the Northern Ireland Switched on Schools Programme, said: "Since winning the award, we have noticed a real difference in awareness of our sustainable energy activities across Northern Ireland."
